By accessing or using KindredSoul (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KindredSoul is an AI companion application that provides conversational experiences through text, voice, and video. The Service is provided “as is” and is intended for entertainment and personal well-being purposes.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure

5. AI Companion Disclaimer

KindredSoul is an AI-powered companion and is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or medical advice. The AI companion is not a real person and cannot provide licensed professional services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by KindredSoul and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Subscription and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds are subject to our refund policy.

8. Refund Policy

If you cancel your subscription within 24 hours of purchase, you are eligible for a full refund. After 24 hours, all subscription payments are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at hello@kindredsoul.app within the 24-hour window.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KindredSoul shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
